I was very lucky a couple of months ago to be approached by the author himself, and asked to review his new book. I was instantly intrigued as I love kids, kid stories and have plans on becoming a teacher myself.

Stephen Done is a third grade teacher, has taught for years in a mostly female dominated profession. He writes about his students and leads you through the school year the way a parent might write about their child. His insights and stories are sweet, funny and touching. This is the kind of book that makes you want to be a teacher if you didn’t already want to be one, and it will make you laugh out loud, shake your head, and keep turning the pages. Certainly if you are in the teaching profession you will enjoy this book, but as a parent you will enjoy it as well. It is filled with stories that we can all relate to.

Reading it, I could feel how much the author cares for his students. It made me wish that all teachers were like him, put as much effort into teaching and making each child feel special and welcome at school. Stephen Done has written a fun, playful book, that is easy to read. I thank him for offering it to me to review, and now offer a copy to you, my readers, as a give away.
