I recently found this recipe for a basic marinade. I use it on fish, and chicken, and we all love it. I have started cooking cod and haddock, in addition to sole and salmon. This recipe is great for all of these types of fish. The kids actually eat their fish when I use this recipe! I hope your kids like it as much.
(The longer you marinate it for, the better. Sometimes I do cook it right away, and its still yummy!)
Kind of like a reverse shepherds pie, but my kids like this way more! This is our all-time favourite, hands down. I could make this every night and they would all clear their bowls. Hubby and I like it too! You can use left over mashed potatoes if you have them, or make them fresh and add whatever vegetables your kids like. Our favourites are peas, carrots and/or corn.
