I was tired last night after working all day, taking Jeremy to the doctor, making dinner and then rushing off to the soccer field. So when we arrived home at 8:30 I laid down the law to my little people and told them to get out of the shower, ready for bed and I would come into their room in five minutes after my shower to read to them. I may or may not have added a threat on to the end of that about what might happen if they didn’t have their jammies on and their teeth brushed.

Seven year old Sabrina smiled at me and said ‘Mom, you’re nice…..it’s opposite day.’

Uh huh.. She did. I didn’t lose my mind on her but she did hear about her rude attitude and how I didn’t appreciate the comments and looks coming from her these days. As always I compared her to her selfish, mean 13 year old sister…Within five minutes she had written me an apology note.

Don’t think girls are harder… they’re just different!!! Mind you I only have one to contend with:-) And 2 boys!!
