I know I had a massive moth infestation in my pantry cupboards after buying food from Bulk Barn a few years ago but I swear I went in for special natural soap they carry…Honest.

And then I smelled the candy and saw the bins filled to the top with sticky, sweet delicious treaties and I was like an alcoholic in the liquor store. I filled four bags with candies before I got out of there-and I forgot the soap.

As the kids and I fought over the jujubes and sour raspberries and sour fruit salad, the thought of flies and eggs and caterpillars and moths did cross my mind. But my addiction won and we ate those candies. So. If there were critters in those bags, we will never know. And what we will never know, won’t hurt us. Right?
